Brand Story

In 1920s Giuseppe Toscanini starts a timber business in Isolella Sesia, in the Piedmont region of Italy. 10 years later, Giuseppe’s son Giovanni opens a small knife-making workshop, assisted by his wife Angela.
In 1950s the business continues to grow, and with it the factory and production lines. The increase in production capacity allows the company to supply large department stores, chief among them La Rinascente in Milan.

In 1990s – 2000s  Giovanni, Cristina and Federica, the fourth generation of Toscaninis, join the company. Toscanini becomes an established name in the world of international fashion, diversifies production and experiments with new materials such as red cedar.
The market demands increasingly customised products: bespoke is the new buzzword. Toscanini launches its tailor-made colection which is something of a revolution.
Today, Toscanini works with visual merchandisers at leading international fashion houses, designing hangers to match each retail concept.

Interacting on a daily basis with professionals from the retail concept and visual merchandising sectors, and from the worlds of fashion and haute couture.
For them and with them, we design bespoke hangers and accessories to complement stores, showrooms and the most prestigious ateliers.
The process first involves listening to and understanding the client's needs. This is followed by an internal discussion, after which they develop prototypes and sometimes new tools so that can achieve the desired result.
It is a process that, step by step, enables us to design exclusive hangers and accessories in terms of their shape, materials and details, reflecting the client’s unique brand personality.
This is what we do every day in Isolella Sesia, because only in Italy is there the skill, experience and technology necessary to make clothes hangers of distinction.
